I am trying to find a good prepaid cell phone plan.
Who do you recommend?
Some background:
I'm tired of corporate marketing engines ramming their product goals down our throats.
I do not trust them, I do not believe they tell the truth. I believe they exist to sell
product, and that, at the expense of the customer. (In other words: If marketing objectives
were to provide a genuine value to consumers and to get paid reasonably while doing that,
I would be ok. But, my assessment (paranoid as it may be) is that they simply hawk cheesy wares
and do their best to charge a premium in order that their company can post positive earnings
for stock holders.... guess what, THE HELL WITH STOCK HOLDERS! As a consumer I want a good deal,
not a strong stock position!
What do you do if you don't want to follow the cattle?

Update
I've been using Tracfone for a little over the last year.
My only real complaint is that at approximately .33 a minute
it's hard to justify using the phone for anything but an emergency.
The phones support SMS, which is nice because instead of burning a whole "unit" (the equivalent of a minute)
I only have to burn .3 units to send a text message via SMS.
